When I was in elementary school, my family got a Windows DOS computer that came pre-installed with the exciting program Banner-mania! I spent hours on that program exploring fonts, creating slogans, and designing useless banners. I upgraded to Publisher and created family newsletters, calendars, books, and cards. In high school, I designed and coded an HTML site for my mom’s small business.

In college I earned a degree in graphic design. After working professionally as a graphic designer for a while, I decided to also earn a degree in web development.

Over the years I’ve worked professionally as a graphic designer or a webmaster, but almost as much of my experience has been with projects I commisioned on my own. In 2018, I established Harper Creative to work alongside small businesses and organizations.
